This page explains, in plain language, what data the Simple Developer Platform collects, why, and how it is handled.
Who we are
The Simple Developer Platform is operated by Simple Fintech (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. For privacy questions, write to support@meetsimple.co.

Email addresses you submit to the API
When you call the email verification API, the address you submit is processed in-flight to run syntax checks, MX lookups, and disposable-domain checks. It is not stored after the response is returned. We do not build profiles from the addresses your application submits.
Waitlist data
When you join the waitlist, we store your email address so we can send your API key when a slot opens. We keep waitlist emails only for that purpose. We do not add them to marketing lists, sell them, or share them with third parties other than the processors named above.
Who processes your data
- Cloudflare runs the API: request handling, quota counters, and the API key store.
- Airtable stores waitlist email addresses on our behalf.
- Polar handles metered billing and subscription state.
We do not track you
The marketing site carries no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking software. The API does not log the email addresses your application submits. We do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes.
Rate limiting
API requests are rate-limited and quota-bounded per key. Request counts are stored as metering data. See the Security and Terms pages for the usage rules.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. To make a request, write to support@meetsimple.co. If you are in the UK or EU and are not satisfied with our response, you may contact your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and move the date at the top.
