Terms of use
Last updated 19 June 2026
These terms cover your use of the Simple Developer Platform. By creating an API key and using the API, you agree to them.
What the platform is
The Simple Developer Platform provides API infrastructure for developers: an email verification API, a public-holiday API, and a developer MCP server. All surfaces run behind one API key and one metered bill.
Your account
Access is invite-only during early access. Keep your API key secure; anyone with the key can make requests on your quota. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@meetsimple.co so we can revoke it.
Acceptable use
Use the API for lawful purposes only. Do not use it to send abusive traffic, probe the infrastructure, circumvent rate limits, or process data you have no right to process. We may suspend or revoke a key that is being misused.
Quotas and rate limits
Each key carries a monthly quota. Usage warnings fire at 80 % and 100 % of your quota; requests are declined at the hard cap. Nothing drops silently. Exact quota tiers are communicated when your key is provisioned. See the Security page for the rate-limiting posture.
Honest results
The email verification API returns an honest tier (risky,
unknown, or invalid) based on what the
Workers-native checks can determine. It never returns a positive
valid outcome: SMTP verification requires port 25, which Cloudflare
Workers does not allow. Do not rely on API results for high-stakes decisions without
your own additional validation.
Your content and our limits
Email addresses submitted to the verification API are processed in-flight and not stored after the response is returned. See the Privacy page for full details on what we store.
The platform is early software and we improve it often. We provide the API as it is and as available; we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of the API.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the API after a change means you accept the updated terms.
